October Update

It has been one heck of a month, but I do believe that things will calm down a bit now. I am still adjusting to a VERY different line of work, and Joe is adjusting to having a working wife again, lol. Liam is doing great! He had a cyctoscopy, ureteral reimplant surgery, and a circumcision all on 10/16. He is doing remarkeably well all things considered and we are all happy to be home again. Our hospital stay was cut is half because he is a super trooper and bounced back quickly.

I go back to work Tuesday, but thankfully we have family and friends helping us out this coming week so he can stay home and heal all week. These were taken the day after he came home from the hospital:

Surgery? What surgery? He was feeling pretty good (thanks to his medicine)!
There will be an update following Halloween so I can post a pic of him in his costume!

Is it REALLY October 9th already?!

I have been TERRIBLE at updating this, but will try to stick to a twice-a-month thing from now on. I am hoping things calm down a bit soon and we can all catch our breath at home for a bit, but we have to get through the next 1-2 weeks first.

For starters, I have a new job working at at a local Preschool. It is VERY different for me to go from middle school English curriculum to such little ones, but I enjoy it and LOVE having Liam come to work with me each day. He is right down the hall and I take my breaks visiting him.
Last weekend was the Fouhey October birthdays celebration. We had a nice day in Danvers and celebrated birthdays for me, Kerry, and Dad with all the kids. Thanks for the great day, Grammy!
Liam and I have already caught the first bug floating around the school, but that is to be expected with so many young kids around. We are on the mend and planning to head to the Berkshires for a Hanson family party.
Next week is going to be a BIG week for Liam. He is having his surgery and will be spending a few days at Children's Hospital (poor kid). I'll update the blog post-surgery!
